Because I have alot of my files on network drives the speed is a big deal for athegos. Something is wrong with the Wifi Card on Ubuntu, the max.

I forgot to tell I did try it the other way around and forced the wirelesss to N only, but then my card wouldn’t connect at all.
Maybe one of you guys can help me Maurice. I got the latest firmware on my router. Unfortunately it has not helped me to reach full speed, just to kbit from the possible 25Mbit.
I know the N support is there on my router, because my other notebook connects perfectly with N speeds. Speed I can get is 56 kbit. I am very glad people are trying to help me on this thank you all.

There is however one last option and that is to flash it with openWRT firmware from openwrt dot org.
There is also not a wireless tool available where you can monitor the connection. I just don’t understand that there are only so little options available in the drivers to tweak the atheros card. It has B, G and N capabilities. I will try that one later this day if nobody has another guess.
